Who we’re seeking to join the team:
The Associate Vice President, Field Marketing for Global Private Equity Solutions will lead partner and client marketing initiatives in lockstep with our Partner, Relationship Management and Sales teams, including events management to drive deeper customer and partner relationships. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing the client and partner marketing plans in line with overall business objectives while ensuring strong presence at the face to face and virtual events. This individual will serve as a growth partner to the Field and Relationship Management organizations to establish, grow and deepen relationships with our partners and clients across the ecosystem, as well as collaborate with a high-performing team of marketers spanning key functions including demand generation and content marketing.
Key responsibilities:
Devise, execute and evolve the marketing plans for the Relationship Management and Strategic Partner organizations to deliver key content and tools to more effectively land and expand relationships with B2B prospects, partners and clients, aligning to short- and long-term growth plans, including OKR setting hand in hand with the business partners
Tap into customer insights and competitive intelligence to inform the go-to-market strategy and over time, improve adoption tactics
Execute preparation and delivery of client marketing content, partnering with teams throughout the organization to determine the best channel for the message, securing legal, compliance and risk approvals, and working with Marketing Operations to ensure flawless execution
Guide the prioritization of partner marketing initiatives as the initiatives and teams scale
Support the creation of an authentic and compelling value proposition for strategic partners and Law Firms, bringing the Morgan Stanley at Work story to life and differentiating it in the marketplace
Manage and standardize partner collateral, prioritizing key initiatives, and tracking success and adoption of the new collateral assets
Build effective communication assets (e.g. emails, slide decks, one-sheeters, case studies) and internal guides (e.g. playbooks, battlecards), working with content teams
Communicate with the sales and client success organizations, and other teams on current marketing activities and report on the results
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
5+ years in B2B marketing roles of increasing responsibility, preferably for tech-led solutions
Fluency in Customer and Channel Marketing program strategy, execution, and measurement
Ability to advocate for what is best for the clients and business with vendors and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage third party, client-facing and partner-facing events, in collaboration with the corporate events organization
Proven success in pipeline contribution via integrated co- marketing campaigns
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a deadline-oriented environment
Ideal: Familiarity and connectivity with the start-up/private company space, experience in FinTech or Financial Services. Knowledge of legal and compliance policies related to financial service industry a plus
Comfortable with change and wearing different hats often
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation and creative development skills
Ability to effectively manage through change, maintaining a sense of humor and perspective
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
