At Catchpoint we believe in the power of content marketing. It is essential for our growth engine, and therefore essential for your business. We are looking for someone who shares this passion to lead our content marketing efforts.


  • Maintain a catalog of existing content by solution, topic, format, and where in the funnel it helps most.
    Identify content gaps and prioritize projects, ideas, and requests
  • Help write, publish, repurpose and optimize the content that will be the essence of our marketing strategy
  • Ensure our content is always interesting, technical, and useful – in addition to being concise and to reflect our values and our style
  • Focus on creating quality content rather than quantity. We don’t believe we need to post X times a week on our blog, for example.
  • Support and grow the organic channel. Incorporate our SEO and keyword strategy into your content development and prioritization
  • Collaborate and partner with Demand Gen and Product Marketing to build a holistic content and promotion strategy
  • Support and manage vendor and content freelancers


  • At least 2 years in an equivalent management role, in a software company selling to a technical audience, ideally ITOps or DevOps/SREs
  • An understanding of how IT buyers make buying decisions, what content is useful for them, and how they determine what content to trust
  • Experience with blog posts, white papers, e-books, website content, videos, infographics, webinars, and other forms of content
  • A track record of creating content that fuels company growth by supporting awareness, demand generation, and customer marketing
  • A solid understanding of SEO, how to optimize content on social platforms, and how the media consumes content through bylined or sponsored articles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and to provide clarity and guidance to a broader team of internal and external content creators, writers, and contractors
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
