About the job

We are looking for a well-rounded Director of Customer Marketing to drive our customer engagement and growth strategy. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you will devise engagement and retention strategies while driving execution with dedicated support to elevate the voice of the customer across all marketing programs, partnering with Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Generation, Sales, and Operational Customer Success teams.

In this role, you can expect to,

  • Take a data-driven approach to grow our business through continued evolution and improvement of our customer messaging across multiple channels, account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns, quarterly Customer Advisory Boards (CABs), and customer-led events.
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to understand the needs of customers and create targeted programs that build customer loyalty.
  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of marketing initiatives to optimize conversion and retention with personalized segments and promotional tools.
  • Oversee the development, execution, and analysis of product offerings, including offer management and communication, member segmentation, and behavior-based and transaction-triggered messaging
  • Perform end-to-end monitoring of campaign execution and performance.
  • Develop testing strategies to optimize business performance.
  • Develop, present, and advocate for marketing strategies and budgets.
  • Lead the evolution of our marketing capabilities by identifying opportunities to grow through technological innovation.
  • Continually research retention marketing trends and technologies while leveraging best practices.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams while managing and building a team of Customer Marketers.

Qualification to thrive in this role,

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of retention strategies and act as the key subject matter expert harnessing and leveraging the voice of the customer across all company-wide initiatives.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience.
  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Passion for customer experience and increasing the value of customers through thought-provoking and leading best-in-class programs.
  • Strategic planning skills: strong strategic thinker, ability to search for insights, and shepherd a strategic idea.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, well organized, independent, ability to learn quickly, multi-tasking, great interpersonal skills, team player.
