We are seeking an experienced Reference Program Manager to join our growing Customer Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a persuasive customer reference program that provides timely and relevant sales references, nurtures a vibrant peer review community and helps to identify and create impactful customer stories and content in support of sales and marketing activities.

  • Build, grow and maintain a healthy community of reference customers to help sales and marketing with seller’s proof.
  • Stimulate, nurture, and curate review activity on peer review sites and communities like G2 and TrustRadius.
  • Create and help create content of various types (written case studies, customer testimonial videos, presentation slides, etc.) based on our customers’ experiences and successes.
  • Manage reference requests tracking reference activity and outcomes.
  • Work closely with sales, CS and product teams to create and maintain in-depth customer profiles and contacts.
  • Manage high-touch reference relationships for our customers.
  • Drive awareness and consideration for, as well as participation in, the Quickbase reference program with sales teams and advocate for the program across the company
  • Activate and ensure the utilization of reference customer relationships, related content, and interactions to positively impact sales and marketing activity
  • Partner with the marketing team to utilize the voice of customer generated through review sites throughout our website and marketing materials
  • Identify potential customer success stories from the reference program, peer reviews and other sources to build out sales acceleration content that can serve as references at scale
  • Help define customer reference and peer review site metrics/goals/benchmarks and track/report progress against them.

You are:  

You are a process-oriented problem solver with both excellent communication and writing skills. You know how to identify and develop impactful stories from customers. You can manage priorities and expectations, while communicating strategy and results directly to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role will thrive working in a fast-paced environment, managing lots of requests from various stakeholders Independently. They must be comfortable working on tight deadlines with a variety of personalities and maintain a strong bias to action. A flexible mindset is important as the marketing and sales teams continue to leverage new approaches to work and evolve our priorities as we learn and grow the business.

Ideally, you will have:  

  • Experience working with customer references and/or peer communities in B2B enterprise software and services required.
  • Understanding of how to build impactful, mutually beneficial relationships with customers
  • Experience working with specific peer review sites and communities like G2, TrustRadius, and Gartner Peer Insights is a plus.
  • Experience creating content putting the voice of customer first.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. You don’t find problems, you find solutions.
