We are looking for a strong, customer minded team leader to run Microsoft Rewards – the premier consumer loyalty program for Microsoft and the Devices Customer Journey team. We are looking for a senior consumer marketer to lead the our flagship consumer loyalty program for Microsoft – Microsoft Rewards . This person will join the Integrated Marketing leadership team and be responsible for driving a holistic and impactful growth plan to build an engaged, loyal consumer base who uses the full ecosystem of Microsoft’s apps and services. You will help envision a full portfolio program that delights Microsoft’s consumers and builds brand love and affinity. You will be responsible for delivering compelling experiences and content to customers to deepen their relationship with Microsoft and getting them using and loving Microsoft Rewards. This includes designing impactful customer journeys, delivering personalized cross-channel communications, finding new ways to engage customers in digital channels, and identifying rich customer insights that can impact decision-making. You will partner with go-to-market, product marketing, product management, finance and software engineering teams to drive customer engagement, work with data scientists to find interesting usage patterns to inform the behaviors we should reward, and drive enrollment and profitable engagement.

  • Design and execute a loyalty plan that fuels business growth for multiple products and services, spanning productivity, gaming and search.
  • Deliver impactful, culturally relevant marketing assets and campaigns across all digital channels and endpoints that build brand relevance, engage existing fans, and reach new audiences.
  • Own customer journeys and lifecycle marketing experiences that engage millions of customers dynamically across channels and gaming endpoints, including console, PC, and mobile.
  • Responsible for product roadmap, editorial programming, design, customer experience experimentation, campaign execution, test and learn agenda, program optimizations, and ROI measurement across all campaigns and lifecycle programs.
  • Responsible for omnichannel marketing technology vision and execution; partner closely with engineering to evolve. roadmap and capabilities including stacks, tools migrations, and data architecture.
  • Manage two FTEs plus vendor support; develop and nurture a strong customer-first, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
  • Oversee four agency partners supporting marketing, analytics, email operations, and design.


  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business
    • OR Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
    • 4+ years people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate is passionate about the engaging and developing relationships with customers, is both data-driven and creative in approach, is able to formulate broad strategies and execute, and has consumer experience.

  • 10 years relevant professional experience including management experience leading and developing cross-functional teams
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing digital-first and cross-channel global marketing campaigns. Omni-channel marketing experience desired
  • Direct experience managing, coaching, and developing high performing and dynamic teams
  • Innovator of and advocate for best-in-class digital channels and experiences
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
    Ability to synthesize data and analytics to understand performance and drive optimizations in current and future campaigns
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, storytelling, and leadership skills
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, creative agencies, and large marketing budgets
  • Technology sector and/or subscriptions marketing experience strongly desired
  • Energized by the scope and scale of this role and the need for vision setting, decisive leadership, and delivering breakthrough marketing in a dynamic, matrixed, and collaborative environment

For CO based candidates residents, the salary range for this role is from $188,734- $215,667. At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
